Happy Valentines Day Everyone!

It has been a very nice day, My Husband sent me a Dozen of Beautiful Roses , my son took me out for lunch, and I got a Happy Valentines Day from my daughter bright and early this morning around 5:45. I received a nice card yesterday from my mom and dad...they are the best. I LOVE YOU ALL!

Big day at school today...Valentines, Valegrams, busy, busy, busy and not much work going on. Ashley will come home with lots of stories to tell, and will be showing me what all she got from her friends.

Kirtis's highlight will be to see if he can sell most of the Valentine Roses that he got in at the produce department.......he hates wasting ....when they do not all sell.

GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I arrived at my work place this morning around 6:40. Getting a early start today, because I had Steve to come get me yesterday instead of me driving home...just didnt want to take any chances. It wasn't to bad on the way home yesterday, but was still glad that I didnt drive, a few spots on the highway that were pretty slick, and I just felt a little more safe with him......Kirti did too, he left his care at work as well.....he didnt want to take any chances of putting a dent in his Mustang.

I am so ready for warm weather.....at least warm enough to get on our bike and go somewhere. It is just sitting in the garage with a cover on it, it needs to be going down the highway. Looks like Texas may be one of the places we travel to this year, and would like to go to the Smokey Mountains too. I havent been to the Smokey Mountains since I was a kid.

Well, I am going to get to work......Hope everyone has a great day.

WEDNESDAY

Well it's about 20 min till the work day begins. It has been a good week so far, but pretty busy. I started out kinda tired on Monday, I guess from being up and about on my feet all day Satruday for our Annual Church Fish Fry, which turned out a very good crowd by the way. Lots of friends and family came, some family that we didnt know were coming in , it was a good surprise. Got to see Janet, Gary, Judy , Debbie, Randy, Dennis & Janie (cousins) was so nice to visit with them. The fish was great, as was all the food.

Ashley and I went to Marmaduke Basketball game on Tuesday night, pretty good games, we played Rector, and the games were full of excitment.

Tonight it is off to a Prom Dress modeling deal at the Community Center, cant wait to see Ashley's friend Katie in her dress and strutting her stuff...lol. So girls night out tonight...poor Steve home again....just him and the T.V.

Watched a new show last night......Storage Wars....pretty interesting to watch. Not quite up there with Pawn Stars yet.

Congrats to Kirtis

So Happy that for Kirtis, he won $500 dollars on a scratch off lottery ticket yesterday, he was so excited. He actually won $25 on the first ticket, bought another and won the $500. I have one $2 before...lol.

Hope everyone can make it out to our Annual Fish Fry at St Johns Lutheran Church this Saturday, will serve from 11 to 7. It will be lots of fun, and some great fish, hushpuppies, homemade fries, and all the trimmings....oh and some wonderful deserts.

Good Morning

It is almost 8:00 am,, but not yet. Work day starts soon. I was so glad that the roads were not very bad this morning, I sure hate to drive on ice. The sun is shinning , it is going to be a good day.......ITS FRIDAY.

Steve was home yesterday, so he fixed supper for us last night, he made homemade soup, it was great. I think he will be home today also, I may see if he wants to do a meatloaf for tonight...lol. That will teach him to stay at home while I have to work.

I have been wanting to make one of those Mock Apple Pies too, the recipe that you use Ritz Crackers with. I use to make them, but it has been a long time.

I am still having fun with my new sewing machine, I made a couple of Caserole Dish carriers , I made one last night and night before. Soooooooooo. I now have 4 aprons and the Carriers. Any other ideas from anyone, on somthing simple.

New Bike

For those of you who havent seen our new bike, here is a picture. This is from the Harley Davidson website, it really doesnt do it justice...it is so pretty in the sun light...it sparkles. The color is Dark Candy Root Beer and Light Candy Root Beer. It kinda just looks like a dul brown in the picture but it isnt , its a very nice color.

Tought #1........Hope everyone's morning is going well. It is 30 min before my wonderful work day starts. LOL . Thought #2...........I was listening to the radio this morning on the way to work, looks like we have some snow, sleet, and freezing rain coming our way. I hope its only snow. Thought #3........I sure hope Steve is feeling better by this afternoon, he has been down with a cold for a couple of days........making it rough on the rest of us.......men...they need so much attention when they aren't feeling well. I know he feels pretty bad, because he has missed 2 days of work and that is just not like him. Thought #4.....Steve took the Bike to the Harley Shop in TN on Monday, we not have lots more chrome, and a nicer dash part...forget what it called..oh I know now, a Inner Fairing. It looks real nice. Thought #4.....Hope the day is a plesant one for me and for all of you.

Hello Friends

Well it is 10 min till 8:00 , almost time to start work....AGAIN. lol It was such a good weekend, and Monday wasnt that bad either. I had a great Birthday weekend, a lot of Birthday wishes from my friends, and my sister Dana made me dinner for our family on my Birthday. Steve and Ashely bought me a sewing machine, got a gift card to Chili's from Kirtis and mom and dad gave me some decorations for my house, and some things for my kitchen. We also spent a couple of nights out with friends, enjoying some good food and friendship.

Mother and Daughter outing....

Ashley and I went to see a movie last night, the movie wasn't the greatest but it was fun getting out and spending time together. We had some good laughs, popcorn, & soda. I am so glad that she still likes to be seen with me...HA! I am sure that there are teens who wouldnt want to go to the movies with there mom......well it was a Thrusday night ...not FRIDAY OR SATURDAY.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

Just wanted to let those of you who havent heard the news yet......My sister Dana is engaged. We are so happy for her and Ben. Dana is soooo happy.

I am so glad it is Friday, it is time for some good food tonight at Chili's with friends, and I am planning on going to see COUNTRY STRONG in the morning at 10 am. Hope everyone has a great FRIDAY and and a GREAT WEEKEND!

Whats for Supper!

Steve is home as I write this, fixing Grilled Quail and Baked Potatoes. Then I think that Ashley and I may head out and go to a movie tonight. Poor STeve.....home alone with just the T.V. I am sure he will actualy love that. lol

Wishing for the Winter months to be over....

Cant wait until the cold is gone, and the warm weather is back. Steve and I cleaned up the bike a couple of days ago, so now I am ready to ride....the cover is on the bike and it is just waiting. Well actualy it will get a trip to the trailor and of to the Harley Shop in TN to get some Chrome put on here in a couple of weeks.......but then it will be ready.
